–Brothers Arnaud and Guillaume Fabre recently announced the opening of their tasting room in Tin City. From the French word “binome” which means “a project together,” that is exactly what this new, exciting association is between the two brothers and their wives. Arnaud (sales manager for Law Family Estate Winery,) and Guillaume Fabre (of Clos Solene, and previously assistant winemaker at Steven Asseo’s renowned L’aventure winery) have realized their dream to produce small lot, handcrafted wines, reflecting the best of West Side Paso Robles terroir.

Their first two releases (a 2015 cabernet sauvignon) and their 2015 Les Deux Freres (two brothers), a blend of grenache, tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon, has already received acclaims from Jeb Dunnick of Jebdunnick.com.

Trained in France, in their own family vineyards and wine business, Arnaud followed his brother (and wife Solene), to America, to pursue a vision of one day making wine, but to be able to do so with his brother, thus continuing and honoring their parents and grandparents legacy.

This “French Connection” is intertWined, in a “most French” way: Solene and Guillaume fell in love in France, both from wine families, eventually pursuing a dream to move to California, where Guillaume began his career with Steven Asseo, a Frenchman, at L’aventure winery, while slowly pursuing his own passion and beginning Clos Solene. Years later, brother Arnaud followed, beginning his career at Law Family Estate winery, and meeting Steven Asseo’s daughter Chloe, who he married last year. This is a story of family, love, wine, and passion, told in a way that only the French are able to do.

Benom Tasting Room is open Friday-Sunday, by appointment only. Don’t miss a chance to be one of the first to experience the exquisite partnership and passion of two brothers, and their wives, which is exquisitely bottled and expressed in their initial release.

The tasting room is located at 3050 Limestone Way, in Paso Robles. For more information, call (805) 610-4723 or email Info@benomWines.com.
