Mid-State Fair announces Frontier Stage performers

Runaway June

The California Mid-State Fair today announced Runaway June has been confirmed to perform two shows on Monday, July 24, 2017, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm on the Frontier Stage. Runaway June’s performances will be free with your paid admission to the fair.

The girl group, made up of lead singer and guitarist, Naomi Cookie, singer and mandolin picker, Hannah Mulholland and singer and guitarist, Jennifer Wayne, is known for their stunning three part harmonies and their similarities to the one and only Dixie Chicks. Cooke, Mulholland and Wayne are very different women who have fused together to create a style country fans have been craving. Their hit intro song “Lipstick” follows their motto of writing “from the heart,” and is the perfect intro to this new group.

Micky Dolenz

The California Mid-State Fair today announced Micky Dolenz has been confirmed to perform two shows, on Tuesday, July 25, 2017, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm on the Frontier Stage. Micky Dolenz’s performances will be free with you paid admission to the Fair.

This unmistakable performer moved a generation and led The Monkees to four #1 albums, two Emmy Awards and a dozen Top 20 singles. Dolenz has entertained audiences all his life and brings a one-of-a-kind presence

Restless Heart

The California Mid-State Fair today announced Restless Heart has been confirmed to perform two shows, on Friday, July 28, 2017, at 6:30 and 8:30 pm on the Frontier Stage. Restless Heart’s performances will be free with you paid admission to the Fair.

The men who make up Restless Heart have been lucky enough to enjoy one of the most successful careers in country music history, placing over 25 singles on the charts – with six consecutive #1 hits, having four of their albums certified Gold by the RIAA and winning the Academy of Country Music’s Top Vocal Group trophy. John Dittrich, Greg Jennings, Dave Innis and Larry Stewart have a list of hits including “I’ll Still Be Loving You,” “The Bluest Eyes In Texas,” and “When She Cries.” They pride themselves on not only their work as artists, but especially on their community work and work supporting the Armed Forces.

The 2017 California Mid-State Fair runs July 19 through July 30. This year’s theme is “Come One, Come All…”
