Outback Trail Rides is unlike your average trail riding experience. Specializing in small group and private rides, these rides are designed to be an intimate and fun time for the whole family.
Mick Harper, owner and guest guide, was raised on an extensive cattle property on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia.
Mick has a wealth of experience in horse training, riding instruction and cattle management from his Aussie Heritage.
Rides are currently offered on the beautiful Fiscalini Ranch, just south of Cambria. This ranch is one of the Central Coast’s oldest working cattle ranches, and guest riders enjoy an inside glimpse of this lovely property. With several trail options on the ranch, riders have an opportunity to see some of the area’s native wildlife, as well as ranch livestock. The biggest highlight, however, is the spectacular ocean and mountain views visible from the high ridges of this ranch. “On clear days we can see from Morro Bay all the way to Hearst Castle. It’s breathtaking,” says Mick.
