Established in 2005, Vines on the Marycrest is an award-winning, boutique family winery driven by a love of wine, music and art. Farming leads the way with vineyards of old vine zinfandel, tempranillo and Rhône varietals which are sustainably dry-farmed and head-pruned. Wines are award winning, handcrafted Zinfandel and Rhone Blends, (all named after popular songs) which capture the spirit of the Paso Robles appellation. The concept of Chronic Cellars came about in the midst of harvest in 2004. We had used the term “The Chronic” to describe likable objects before, but we had never considered it a suitable descriptor for wine. We sat alongside the crush pad one evening in our wine stained clothes and wet boots laughing about the idea of a wine that targeted a casual lifestyle.
Jake and I were raised in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. Wine and the art of wine making have been apart of our lives since the early 80’s. After graduating from college we both returned to Paso Robles and joined the team at Peachy Canyon Winery. After a decade each of immersing ourselves in all aspects of the wine industry we decided to do our own project. We wanted to try something new and put the tools we have gathered to work on our dream. We had a vision and a desire to make our statement in the wine industry that we could not deny. After four years we took our first step toward Chronic Cellars.

Wild Coyote Estate Winery is a true wine country retreat, also home to a unique Santa Fe style Bed & Breakfast (B&B) right in the heart of the Paso Robles West-side wine region of Central Coast, California. History
Established in 1995
Our philosophy is to be a farmer first, and then a winemaker. As my grandfather used to say “if you grow good grapes, you’ll have good wines”. Since the old days of winemaking is long-gone, and most wines are now mass produced with emphasis on taste and price. We decided to trademark ourselves as “full blooded” meaning we do everything on one site and under our control; from growing the grapes, to harvest, processing, winemaking, storage, and selling, all from our tasting room only.
To us it is all about being small, but be the best at what we do. Even if it means that we focus on our (15) acres Westside Paso Robles grapes, and less than 2,000 cases in total production annually, then so be it. Our story
A journey into the coastal town of Cambria, CA opened the eyes of my father, a young immigrant, to a better life for his family. Sure enough, my father was right. A whole world was out there for his children to embrace.
Bodega is the Spaniard term for a winery or cellar. Considering my Hispanic heritage and passion for Spanish wines, the brand name seemed a natural fit.
My wine journey started as a waiter in Paso Robles, CA. There I was exposed to many great wine producers. Several became friends and eventually opened their doors to my learning desires. I started as a Cellar Rat, and moved on to learn the many different aspects of the wine industry. My enthusiasm for producing great wines brought me and my wife to the development of our own brand, Bodega de Edgar, in 2007.
Starting at just 250 cases, Bodega de Edgar is now approaching 3,500 cases with the 2018 vintage. As always, my focus is on sourcing the highest quality fruit to produce the best wines, while still maintaining an affordable price point.

About the business
The company was founded in 2004 by Anthony Elisarraras and his father. “My father saw the need saw the need and launched the business with an old recycled Caltrans mower from a salvage yard,” said Anthony. Years later, Anthony took over the business and has since implemented personal protection equipment and added safety measures that meet Cal Fire guidelines, plus updating equipment annually.
