Welcome to
San Luis
Obispo County
Welcome to San Luis Obispo County, and
thank you for reading this newest issue
of the San Luis Obispo County Visitor's Guide.
Winter is a special time to explore the Central
Coast. Crisp winter air is invigorating and makes
many activities even more special. From outdoor
adventures to shopping and enjoying cozy meals
and winetasting, there’s something here for
everyone to experience.
Along with sightseeing, shopping, fine
dining, and outdoor experiences that
are unique to this part of California. The
crisp air, beaches, valleys, and foothills,
where mysterious morning fog gives way
to sunny afternoons, cozy dinners, and
world-leading wine, all come together for
some of the most memorable experiences
for the entire family.
While exploring Paso Robles Wine
Country, be sure to sample the crowd-
pleasing wines at Peachy Canyon. As one
of the first established wineries in the
area, Peachy Canyon Winery remains a
favorite of locals and visitors. Family-
owned and operated, the winery is known
for producing award-winning zinfandel
and handcrafted small-batch Rhône and
Bordeaux varietals.
Step up to the long, meandering bar in-
side the Peachy Canyon Old Schoolhouse
tasting room and sample a wide variety of
estate-grown
varietals.
White walls
and wood
accents lend a
classic, old-world feel to the interior.
Established in 1988 by Doug and
Nancy Beckett, Peachy Canyon Winery
has been under the full-time care of their
sons, Josh and Jake Beckett, for the past
several years.
The upcoming months are a perfect
time to experience the charm and ro-
mance of San Luis Obispo County. Stroll
along serene beaches, explore breathtak-
ing hiking trails, and cap off your day
savoring exquisite cuisine and wine at a
cozy, world-class restaurant. If you can’t fit
it all in, don’t worry—you’re always wel-
come to return and discover even more!
On behalf of our entire staff, I would
like to extend a warm welcome. We hope
you enjoy your stay.
Beth Brennan and her family
welcome you to San Luis
Obispo County.
