Our 20th
Anniversary!
The Ravine Water Park is the
place to be this summer
Families and friends have been
creating summer traditions
at The Ravine Waterpark for 20
years. Whether local or visiting,
this Central Coast destination is
an essential part of many summer
plans. Located just off Highway
46 East on Airport Road, it’s
the perfect place to spend an
afternoon.
To celebrate the park’s 20th
anniversary in 2026, The Ravine
is offering a variety of special
events, fan photo features, and
more throughout the summer.
The fun officially kicked off on
May 23, Memorial Day weekend,
and continues through Labor Day
weekend in early September.
“Fun is our main attraction,
and we want everyone to feel
welcome and happy at The Ravine
Waterpark,” said Brett Butter-
field, the one remaining original
partner of the park. In recent
years, he has joined with Damien
Mavis and Pat Arnold of CoVelop
to bring new attention to this lo-
cal attraction that he started two
decades ago.
Bright and colorful, the park
features vivid splashes of blue,
pink, and yellow. A fun vibe
flows throughout the park, from
the vibrant colors of the slides to
the blue water streaming down
and around each attraction. The
park team is all about safety, with
everyone from the concession
staff to the lifeguards undergoing
special training. General Manager
Stephen Gifford oversees the
daily operations and ensures all
lifeguards are CPR-certified and
complete a rigorous training
program.
Slides, mini golf, and activities
for everyone
Famous for a variety of water
slides, The Ravine Waterpark fea-
tures adventures ranging from thrill-
ing to adrenaline-fueled. Vertigo is
a 35-foot enclosed tube, while the
Kamikaze is nearly five stories tall.
Choose a lane on the Quadzilla and
challenge your family and friends,
or dare a family raft adventure with
Thunder Run. The 325-foot Anacon-
da and Yellow Viper slides provide
exciting journeys, and the Sidewind-
er promises heart-pounding twists
and turns.
Splash Lagoon features interac-
tive elements, including tipping
buckets and new slides. If you’re into
catching waves, check out the Ca-
lypso Bay Wave Pool before loung-
ing on the sandy beach or sundeck.
Kickback Kreek is the ideal spot to
relax in an inner tube as you wind
along paths and under bridges.
The newest attraction is The
Cove, a splash-less pool area with
premium cabanas and high-end
food offerings. Set aside from the
other park areas, it’s designed to
be quiet and secluded – perfect for
those wanting a more relaxed visit.
