earthdayredwinepourEarth Day Food & Wine Fest, April 20-22

Rev up your taste buds for an unforgettable culinary experience at the Central Coast Vineyard Team’s 6th Annual Earth Day Food & Wine Festival on April 21, 2012 at SIP Certified Pomar Junction Vineyard & Winery in Templeton.

Over 200 purveyors of sustainably produced foods and wine will be on hand for a truly unique event: growers, vintners, and chefs coming together to serve out-of-this-world pairings of award-winning wines with one-of-a-kind dishes made with locally-sourced fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, olive oils, chocolates, and more.

All of these purveyors relish the chance to reach out to like-minded consumers and businesses at what has become one of the premier food and wine events on the Central Coast. The event is topped off with live music and dancing.

While the main event takes place on April 21, there are several smaller activities spread throughout the weekend. These include winemaker dinners, farm tours, a farmer’s brunch, wine and cheese pairings, and more.

Event tickets and weekend activities range from $15 to $600 depending on event selection.
