“We started with the idea of just
a butcher shop and market,” Alyssa
Leal explains, “and then added the
restaurant and brewery. We wanted
to create a destination where you
could eat the steaks that were being
cut in our butcher shop and enjoy a
great beer as well.”
Primal House is a great example
of the farm-to-table movement,
which the team rebrands as
ranch-to-table. As a cattle rancher,
Bud Cole has his own herd and
connections to local ranchers. Leal
explains, “We aim to bring the
small ranchers and farmers back to
