Brewery flights, Mahjong, and
make your own sourdough
Of course, the eatery and
restaurant serve the meats from
the butcher shop as well as several
items from the market. It’s a one-
stop shop for people who like good
food. They focus on cozy comfort
classics. The traditional menu offers
a sausage sampler with sausages
from the butcher, and hamburgers
with regular or gluten-free buns,
farmer’s stew, pasta, and, of course,
steaks. Primal House is a protein-
lover’s dream.
Brewmaster Bret Stitzmen’s
brewing style is classic German
brewing. With names like Back
to Bako Lager, Livin’ the Dream
Cream Ale, and Cherry Chocolate
Dunkel, it’s hard to choose just one
beer to try. Fortunately, guests can
sample a taproom flight of any four
beers. The bartender even tells you
which order to drink them in for
the best experience.
The team has focused on mak-
ing Primal House a fun place to
hang out. There’s live music Thurs-
day through Sunday. They also host
classes such as Mahjong and sour-
dough bread making. Wine events
and private events are regularly
hosted. Check out the website for
upcoming events.
If you’re looking for ranch-to-
table dining and a fun new place to
hang out, try Primal House.
Primal House is located at 3330
Ramada Drive in Paso Robles.
