—The Cambria Christmas Market, inspired by Germany’s traditional holiday markets, lights up California’s Central Coast with over 3 million twinkling lights, visits from Santa Claus, handcrafted treasures, and authentic German cuisine. This enchanting event seamlessly weaves Old World traditions with local charm, offering a truly unforgettable holiday experience for all.
The event runs from November 28 to December 31, closed December 1–2, 8–9, and 24–25.
“Each year, we challenge ourselves to outdo the last—and 2025 is shaping up to be our most magical season yet,” said Mike Arnold, Event Director. “With new displays, expanded attractions, and more vendors than ever, it’s the perfect year to visit.”
While most are still soaking up the sun, one of the West Coast’s most enchanting holiday traditions is already in motion, preparing for its 14th season! Tickets are on sale now, and hotel packages are going fast, so if a cozy stay just steps from the magic sounds like your kind of holiday, be sure to book your package soon before they sell out completely.
Tickets are going fast
Tickets include access to millions of dazzling lights, the German vendor market, Santa visits, train rides, and live entertainment in the Biergarten and amphitheater.
- General Admission ranges from $27 to $45, depending on the date
- Children 5 and under are free
Purchase tickets in advance. Once a date sells out online, tickets will not be available at the door. If available, ticket price increases by $10 at the door.
Whimsical Winter Wonderland shopping experience
Find the magic in Cambria at Cambria Pines Lodge, where you can stay just steps away from the Cambria Nursery, featuring the annual Whimsical Winter Wonderland.

Don’t wait to reserve your overnight stay—the Cambria Christmas Market partner hotels often sell out before opening night, and weekend dates are already filling up! All hotel packages include event admission for each guest, accommodations, and daily breakfast.

For those who want to avoid the crowds and enjoy just the lights, Cambria Pines Lodge also offers access on Lights Only nights on Dec. 1-2, 8-9, 24-25. Enjoy the twinkling displays and get photos without crowds, but there will be no vendors, Santa, train, food, beverage, live music, etc. This special access is only available to those staying at the Cambria Pines Lodge.
