Reserve March 21, 1 to 4 p.m., for the 8th annual Central Coast Craft Beer Festival in Atascadero. Purchasing a VIP Session ticket gets you in at noon for a special craft beer pouring.
Beer might lead the headline, but there’s more! Over 60 independently owned craft beer breweries, cideries, and distilleries are offering up their products for tasting experiences. Cider, seltzer, spirits, kombucha, wine, and, of course, beer from all over California are joined by live music, food trucks, vendors, and games at this eagerly anticipated annual festival.
Tickets are on sale on the Central Coast Brewers Guild website (centralcoastbrewersguild.com). The festival is held in Atascadero’s Sunken Gardens, in front of the historic city hall.
Round-trip shuttles are available from Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. Three Atascadero hotels, Holiday Inn Express & Suites, SpringHill Suites, and Fairfield Suites, provide free shuttles for their guests. Participating hotels are also offering discounts for that weekend, so make your reservations now!
Make your shuttle reservations from Paso Robles or San Luis Obispo when you purchase your tickets. Shuttle tickets will not be sold at the event.
Free parking
For those driving, free parking is available at the following locations:
- Atascadero Transit Center – 6000 Capistrano Ave (0.3 miles from event)
- Bank of America – 6905 Capistrano Ave (0.3 miles from event)
- Rabobank – 6950 El Camino Real (0.3 miles from event)
- Atascadero Middle School – 6501 Lewis Ave (0.2 miles from event)

Admission includes a souvenir glass and samples from the breweries, wineries, and other beverage companies representing the festival. Food and vendor purchases are separate.
Tickets are:
- VIP Session—$60, which includes early entry at noon, and a special craft beer pouring between noon and 1 p.m. VIP Session tickets are only available online and sell out fast!
- General Admission—online pre-purchase $55 / at the gate $60.
- Designated Driver—$20 online. Get your designated driver’s ticket when you purchase yours!
- Shuttle—$30. (Participating hotels provide free shuttles for their guests.)

The Central Coast Craft Beer Fest benefits local charities and the Central Coast Brewers Guild. The guild’s mission is to increase awareness by educating consumers about the California Central Coast’s influence on local craft beer. California’s Central Coast covers over 300 miles of coastline (Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Monterey counties) and is home to an amazing variety of craft brewers.
