–After almost half a year “working out the kinks” combined with what seemed like a never ending “soft opening,” Brian Benson and his wife Christina are more than pleased to say: “Come on in!” to their new tasting room in Tin City, Paso Robles.

Starting his wine making career in 2001, at the age of 19, Brian’s first release took place following his 21 st birthday. Brian says he is delighted to introduce his award winning wines to loyal fans and newcomers.

Brian Benson Cellars is located in the ever expanding Tin City enclave of Paso Robles, an area featuring small, intimate tasting rooms with some of Paso’s most exciting young winemakers. Specializing in Rhone wines (primarily blends), grapes are sourced from some of Paso Robles’ most respected vineyards, among them Caliza, James Berry and Rolph Family Vineyards. Being a winemaker for close to half his life, Brian says he is constantly tweaking, changing, learning and improving his craft. Come on in, enjoy the wines and personality of Brian, Christina and their 9 month old son Brayden. Every bottle has a story, one that Brian and Christina are eager to share.

Currently there are five wines on the tasting menu, the tasting fee is refundable with the purchase of two bottles. Brian’s wines are available through the wine club, the tasting room and J&L Wines in Paso Robles. Come meet, greet, taste, and have a great time with two of the friendliest winemaking couples in the area; Dog friendly, kid friendly, just plain friendly.

The tasting room is open 11 a.m.- 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. 2915 Limestone Way, Paso Robles www.brianbensoncellars.com.
