California Mid State Fair Concerts

—The 2022 California Mid State Fair, running July 20-31, has announced headliners for the Bud Light Seltzer Concert Series, held in the Chumash Grandstand Arena, with the Country Rodeo and Monster Trucks wrapping up the last two nights.

July 20 — Journey, one of the most legendary rock bands of all time performs many of their global chart-topping hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin”, “Any Way You Want It”, “Faithfully”, “Lights.”

July 21 — Darius Rucker has cemented himself as a true icon in the music industry. Formerly the lead singer and guitarist for Hootie & the Blowfish, Rucker transititoned to a solo country act in 2008 and has dominated the Grammys, the Country Music Awards, and the Billboard Country charts.

July 22 — Old Dominion, a force for almost a decade, scoring eight number one singles, two Grammy nominations and wins from the Country Music Awards and American Music Awards, returns with songs from their recent album “Time, Tequila & Therapy”, as well as much loved previous hits.

July 23 — Santana has been a visionary force for more than five decades, winning ten Grammys and three Latin Grammys. He has received the Billboard Century Award (1996), was ushered into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (1998), received the Billboard Latin Music Awards’ Lifetime Achievement honor (2009) and was the recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors Award (2013). Rolling Stone named him one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time. His most recent album, the energy-infused Blessings and Miracles (2021) features collaborations with Rob Thomas, Chris Stapleton, Steve Winwood and more.

July 24 — Dan + Shay, Grammy award-winning duo are a true country powerhouse, winning Grammys for their songs “10,000 Hours”, “Speechless”, and “Tequila” and the CMA Award for Duo of the Year. Special guest Carly Pearce joins them on stage.

July 25 — Live to Rock, featuring Skid Row, Warrant, Quiet Riot & Winger Unplugged, brings award-winning, star-studded, rock and roll genius to the Chumash Grandstand Arena stage.

July 26 — Lynyrd Skynyrd, with RIAA Platinum-certified “Sweet Home Alabama” and everlasting hits such as “Simple Man,” “Gimme Three Steps,” and more has been named one of Rolling Stone’s 100 Greatest Bands of All Time.

July 27 — LosTigres Del Norte, one of the most popular and influential bands in the history of Latin music, has been superstars for five decades. The band has sold over 40 million albums worldwide, placing more tracks on the “Hot Latin Songs Chart” than any other artist or group. Their accomplishments include countless Platinum records, multiple Grammys and Latin Grammys, the Latin Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award, and The Hispanic Heritage “Legends” Award at The Kennedy Center.
