Mighty Ground, an award-winning documentary will be showing at the Slo Film Festival this year.

Slo Film Fest to show ‘Mighty Ground’ at Downtown Cinema

—The extraordinary documentary “Mighty Ground,” which premiered at the LA Film Festival in June 2017 will be screened three times at the SLO Film Fest. “Mighty Ground” follows the journey of a gifted songwriter named Ronald Troy Collins, a homeless man living on the streets of Skid Row, and the impact he makes on those who come to love him. Collins is a living example of redemption and what it means to transform oneself from rock bottom.

Mighty Ground was directed by Delila Vallot (Can You Dig This) and produced by Intrinsic Values Films’ Aimee Schoof and Isen Robbins, which will be in attendance for the screenings as well as the film festival’s red carpet event.

The DVD/digital and theatrical film releases will also launch April 10, the day of the debut of the film’s EP soundtrack, MIGHTY GROUND (pre-order here: https://apple.co/2odG6oc) which features three contemporary soul tracks that were recorded and are the product of the narrative of the intimate and inspiring film.

Tickets to screenings are available here
