Free admission to annual event
–The Annual Golden Oak Honey Festival will return to Downtown City Park this Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring antiques, collectibles, arts, crafts, food, and beekeeping seminars. Admission to the festival is free.
In the gazebo, there will be seminars about honey and beekeeping throughout the day with honey dealers selling various honey products. There will also be arts and crafts, garden art and jewelry vendors, a bumblebee hairdo contest and more.
