–San Marcos Creek Winery announced that their Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 scored 95 points and Best of Class at the Los Angeles International Wine Competition.
When he received the results from the competition, San Marcos Creek owner, Roberto Morelli, said it was to be the, “start of a new beginning for San Marcos Creek Winery… I like to call it San Marcos Creek 2.0.”

The estate vineyard is located in the Adelaida District sub-AVA. “We have been selling our fruit to some of the best cabernet producers in the region so we have known the vineyards potential and now it is exciting to see our San Marcos Creek wines receiving such high marks.”
For 77 years, the Los Angeles International Wine Competition has showcased the finest domestic and international vintages through a wine-tasting event.
In 2015, the Morelli Family purchased San Marcos Creek winery and transformed the winery into the destination it is today.
