Bring a camera along because you may want to take some photos while visiting-the views are stunning, with sunsets and sunrises in shades of yellow, pink and purple hues. Stroll the beach for seashells while looking out at the dunes, or sit on the small pier and admire the tranquil blue waters. Overlooking a sandy beach on the bay, visitors can watch the tide come in, and go out, exposing the muddy estuary where wildlife can be watched.

The Back Bay Inn is surrounded by three different restaurants on the property and just steps away from many more places to eat and discover. Cottage style rooms are styled like an old farmhouse and reminiscent of a cozy home away from home. Friendly staff welcome you to enjoy the place and rejuvenate.

Yelp reviewer Gianna C. said, “My husband found this cute, quaint little bed and breakfast for a Valentine’s Day weekend getaway. I’m so glad he did! The whole Inn is situated on the bay in Los Osos and it’s absolutely stunning! It’s got three different restaurants on the property to choose from but of course you can go elsewhere as well. As for the room, we ended up staying in a little two-bedroom cottage type room and it’s so adorable! It looks to have been recently renovated and takes a new “farmhouse” style. That appeals to me in particular due to my unhealthy love for the Gaines family. The service of any employee and the cleanliness of the Inn grounds are spectacular. If you like a cozy place that gives you a “home away from home” type of feeling, this place is it. We are so thrilled with the Inn and we will definitely be returning.”
