The shop is filled with hundreds of local and imported wines

The buzz is that Wines on Main wine bar is the place to be for an exceptional wine adventure, great bites, entertainment, and a welcoming, friendly staff that guarantees a relaxed and enjoyable experience.

Since opening in October 2023, Wines on Main has become one of Templeton’s hotspots for enjoying local and imported wine. “We’re especially passionate about imports and are proud to offer some of the best selections of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. With hundreds of local and imported wines to choose from, there’s always something new to explore, and it’s always worth taking a look through our shop,” said owner Jennifer Baeza.

“Our guests definitely enjoy exploring different wines, and I make it a point to carry unique selections from around the world so there’s always something new to discover,” said Jennifer.

Drop in to enjoy a glass, a bottle, or more. Order some food from the menu and choose from charcuterie boards, a wonderful pâté from Wayward Bakery, honey-whipped chèvre, and beautiful caviar boards. During the summer, Leo Leo Gelato is always a guest favorite.

For fun, upbeat entertainment, there’s live music every Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday is Industry Night, when hospitality industry members receive a discount. On the first and third Tuesdays of each month, the venue features either a local winery or an importer for tastings, offering featured wines by the flight, glass, and bottle. A tasting flight includes a curated selection of four wines for $25.

“I always encourage guests to visit our website to see upcoming special events,” said Jennifer. “For example, we are bringing back our popular Oysters & Champagne event in September.”

Local roots meet global palate

A lifelong Paso Robles local, Jennifer was inspired to open Wines on Main from developing a deep appreciation for wine, especially imported wines. After 17 years in the wine industry and a decade of expanding her wine education and exploring wine regions around the world, she gave her passion a home at the shop.

“Opening Wines on Main gave me the opportunity to combine my passion with my community. My goal was to create a welcoming place where both locals and visitors could discover incredible wines, learn something new, and enjoy great conversations over a glass,” she said. “I couldn’t have done this without the help of my sister and partner, Natalie.”

• Wines on Main’s customized cheese platters are a delicious assortment tailored to your preference. Drop off your own charcuterie board for them to fill as an added convenience.
• Indulge in their handcrafted grazing boxes, perfect for picnics, concerts, special lunches, and any occasion.

Bubbles make wine even more fun

Wines on Main offers two wine clubs:

• The Bubbles Club offers anywhere from one to four bottles of bubbles biannually, in April and October, for $130.
• The Wine Club offers two bottles of wine monthly for $39 per month, focusing on different regions. Choose from reds, whites, or mixed.

Pick up wine club offerings at the shop! Wine club memberships include a 10% per-bottle “out the door” discount on wine purchases to take with you. Club wines and bubbles are personally hand-picked by Jennifer.
