Serving up home cooked goodness in a clean, comfortable environment

Grover Station Grill is the perfect location for a hearty breakfast before a day of exploring or a lunch break in a day of shopping and dinner with friends at the end of a full day. A Grover Beach landmark, the restaurant is located close to shopping, the Pismo Dunes State Park, and close enough to the train station to experience the rumble and clanking of trains. The rumble of passing trains adds a little extra adventure to the dining experience and some excitement for kids and kids-at-heart. Restaurant is located before the entrance on Grand Ave.

Owners, Christopher (who goes by “Z”) and Melissa Zaferis moved to the Central Coast from Los Angeles. “Taking over the restaurant during COVID-19 might seem an insane decision but we believe in this town,” said Z.

Grover Station Grill, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, is known for its home-cooked, flavorful food, everything is from scratch. The food is the top priority for first-class service. The consistent quality of food prepared by cooks who have been with the restaurant for over 20 years, the friendly service, good training, cleanliness and reasonable prices all stack up to keep guests well-fed and coming back. “We want everyone to be comfortable and happy. The more comfortable folks are the happier we are,” said Melissa.

“We will run specials and some might join the permanent menu as we continue to evolve,” said Z.

Start with breakfast and come on back later!

Breakfast can be omelets, burritos, French toast, to the hearty Station Grill Breakfast: three eggs any style, with bacon or sausage, hash browns and toast. The Station Grill has a kid’s menu and side orders filling enough to be a complete meal. For lunch and dinner guests can still grab breakfast, wraps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, our house made Gyro and other rotating specials.

Home cooking has certainly served the grill and guests well over the years. Grover Station Grill has become a hot spot for tourists and a meeting spot for several local groups and organizations.

Grover Station Grill serves local beer and wine, has a dog-friendly patio and is open for indoor and patio dining and takeout.
