Splash Café is known for its legendary clam chowder, serving over 40,000 gallons annually—more than some seafood restaurants serve in their entire existence! No trip to Pismo Beach is complete without a bowl of their award-winning clam chowder, which earns top honors at the annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival year after year.
Splash Café continues to serve the public from its original Pismo Beach location, offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Now, guests can enjoy a variety of pastries, desserts, espresso drinks, and more, perfect for a stroll along the beach. Joanne’s passion for flavors and culinary experimentation extends beyond the café into a growing bakery and retail line. Her Carrot Pepper Hot Sauce, Raucous Daucus, was originally created to complement the café’s signature clam chowder, and its success paved the way for more unique offerings. A trio of spice rubs followed—Smoky Espresso, Smoky Citrus, and Smoky Chimi, designed for year-round grilling and culinary adventures.
The bakery side of Splash Café is also flourishing, with freshly baked bread bowls, desserts made in-house, and an assortment of cakes and other treats now available to ship nationwide.
