Ravine Water Park

Celebrating 20 Years of fun for the entire family

Families and friends have been creating summer traditions at The Ravine Waterpark for 20 years. Whether local or visiting, this Central Coast destination is an essential part of many summer plans. Located just off Highway 46 East on Airport Road, it’s the perfect place to spend an afternoon.

To celebrate the park’s 20th anniversary in 2026, The Ravine is offering a variety of special events, fan photo features, and more throughout the summer. The fun officially kicked off on May 23, Memorial Day weekend, and continues through Labor Day weekend in early September.

“Fun is our main attraction, and we want everyone to feel welcome and happy at The Ravine Waterpark,” said Brett Butterfield, the one remaining original partner of the park. In recent years, he has joined with Damien Mavis and Pat Arnold of CoVelop to bring new attention to this local attraction that he started two decades ago.

Bright and colorful, the park features vivid splashes of blue, pink, and yellow. A fun vibe flows throughout the park, from the vibrant colors of the slides to the blue water streaming down and around each attraction. The park team is all about safety, with everyone from the concession staff to the lifeguards undergoing special training. General Manager Stephen Gifford oversees the daily operations and ensures all lifeguards are CPR-certified and complete a rigorous training program.

Slides, mini golf, and activities for everyone

Famous for a variety of water slides, The Ravine Waterpark features adventures ranging from thrilling to adrenaline-fueled. Vertigo is a 35-foot enclosed tube, while the Kamikaze is nearly five stories tall. Choose a lane on the Quadzilla and challenge your family and friends, or dare a family raft adventure with Thunder Run. The 325-foot Anaconda and Yellow Viper slides provide exciting journeys, and the Sidewinder promises heart-pounding twists and turns.

Splash Lagoon features interactive elements, including tipping buckets and new slides. If you’re into catching waves, check out the Calypso Bay Wave Pool before lounging on the sandy beach or sundeck. Kickback Kreek is the ideal spot to relax in an inner tube as you wind along paths and under bridges.

The newest attraction is The Cove, a splash-less pool area with premium cabanas and high-end food offerings. Set aside from the other park areas, it’s designed to be quiet and secluded – perfect for those wanting a more relaxed visit.

Guests may enjoy an adventurous round of miniature golf at the park’s Jungle Treasure, an 18-hole course filled with charming and challenging obstacles. Lending to its wild jungle forest theme, the course is speckled with rapids, fountains, and waterfalls, and is free for kids under 5-years old with a paying adult.

It’s never been easier to purchase tickets for a day’s worth of fun. Senior and military discounts are available, and guests under the age of two are admitted for free with the purchase of an adult pass. Single-use day passes are ideal for one visit to The Ravine Waterpark. Season passes allow entry to the park any day during the 2026 season and include a 10% discount on purchases at the park’s Bongo’s Beach Shop.

Those opting for the special 20th Anniversary Season Pass will enjoy special perks such as a bring-a-friend-for-free day, one free round of miniature golf, a souvenir cup, a free scoop of ice cream, and 20% off purchases at Bongo’s.

New this season is the Stay in Paso promotion. Available at participating hotels in Paso Robles and the surrounding areas, this option gives guests the chance to purchase a day pass and enjoy a second day at the park for half price. “It’s a great value for people traveling to Paso Robles who want to make a two-day trip to The Ravine,” said Heather Muran, CoVelop Director of Marketing.

Private cabanas at The Ravine are the way to go! Each designated, shady area features a picnic table, four lounge chairs, and servers ready to handle all your food and beverage orders. Those opting for a premium cabana have cabana service throughout the day, and the package includes a storage area, towels, sunscreen, water, snacks, and a branded tote bag. Simply purchase your day pass, reserve a private or premium cabana, park in your reserved spot near the main park entrance, and enjoy the day!
