Whiskey & June is the place to go for unpretentious, traditional cocktails. For whisky aficionados, the extensive whiskey collection makes it a must-visit. Stroll on in, don’t be surprised to find a group playing a board game, and be prepared to meet new and interesting people.

“The thing I love is that we’re a local hangout, and everyone feels like family,” said owner Daniel Green. Along with the local vibe, jukebox, and two pool tables, there is the classic old-fashioned cocktail, served up from your choice of over 200 whiskeys.

Lively conversations among patrons are pretty usual. “It can be self-governing at times,” said Green. “There’s always something fun going on!”

Anytime is a good time to drop by. The liveliest times are happy hour from 2 to 7 p.m., and then later, when the younger crowd energizes things between 9 p.m. and closing at 2 a.m.

Bring your own food or order delivery from your favorite Atascadero eatery. Free Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for everyone are a tradition. Patrons rave about the special holiday eggnog, too!
