Founded in 1913 around a burgeoning local dairy industry, the formation of the Harmony Valley Creamery Association would see Harmony serve as the capital of Central Coast dairy production for nearly half a century.

On your way into Los Osos notice the large grizzlies stationed as guards into the town at South Bay Boulevard and Los Osos Valley Road. The statues were created by local artist Paula Zima.

Located on Highway 41 next to the zoo, the park is open from dawn to dusk and is open to the public. Paddle boats and kayaks are available for rent depending on the water level of the lake. A pedestrian path loops around the lake and is about one mile.
Morro Bay State Park, located at 60 State Park Rd. Morro Bay, features lagoon and bay habitat, all in view of Morro Rock. The park has opportunities for sailing, fishing, hiking and bird watching and features a marina and an 18-hole golf course. The Morro Bay Golf Course is located at 201 State Park Rd. 1122 Cocktail Lounge is a new concept for Paso Robles, a speakeasy cocktail lounge. The lounge is located at 1122 Railroad Street in a mysterious large wooden door only marked with its logo nearby. Press the doorbell and a host will open a small window. If there is room available, they will seat you. If not they will let you know how many groups are in front of you and they will page your cell phone when a table is ready. They are not accepting reservations. The bar has been open to the public since June 8.
The concept was developed by the owners of Fish Gaucho and Pappy MacGregor’s and is located directly behind Pappy’s on the same property lot.
True to a speakeasy, the venue is fairly quiet with good background music. The menu is filled with delicious craft cocktails of all kinds.

The pier, at the intersection of 2nd Street and El Morro Ave., overlooks the shores of the back bay of Morro Bay. The Los Osos Oaks State Reserve Half-mile east of South Bay Boulevard on the south side of Los Osos Valley Road. The reserve has an easy one-mile trail through the “Pygmy Oaks”, which are dwarfed coast live oaks. The low canopy reserve is on the site where Chumash once lived.

Located off Highway 58. The park offers a variety of services year round. Some services include fishing and boating, hiking and trails, picnics, camping, and swimming. The park is located on several thousand acres of land that has been designated as open space. Two camping areas are open and backcountry campgrounds are accessible by boat. The swimming area is open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Be sure to stop at the one gas station in town before driving out to the lake, as there are no gas services once you leave town.
