Windward Vineyard HPV VG59.jpg
1380 Live Oak Rd., Paso Robles, CA 93446, USA 2.8 mi

Living the Dream

Pinot Noir is the driving passion of Marc Goldberg and Maggie D’Ambrosia, husband and wife owners of Windward Vineyard. Windward Vineyard is dedicated exclusively to producing Burgundian style Pinot Noir. To make the “Great American Pinot Noir,” one that rivals those produced in Burgundy, is the couple’s passion.

Marc and Maggie purchased and planted the vineyard in 1989 based upon the terroir and microclimate of the Paso Robles Westside. The combination of the cooling Pacific breezes, the calcareous soil and the 50 degree daily drop in temperature produce exemplary Pinot Noir.

With the Burgundian French term, “Monopole” vision of total control over both the vineyard and the winemaking, the 15-acre vineyard is planted to four notable French clones.

Windward Vineyard is dedicated to putting Paso Robles’ Pinot Noir back on the map, following in the footsteps of two significant figures in California wine history. In the late 1960’s, consultant Andre Tchelistcheff supervised the Paso Robles Hoffman Mountain Ranch property of Dr. Stanley Hoffman. In the 1970’s, Hoffman’s Pinot Noirs gained worldwide recognition, and were drinking well over 20 years later.

Since the 1993 debut in 1995, each of Windward’s SOLD OUT vintages have achieved inspiring acclaim, particularly within the community of wine aficionados who appreciate the layered complexity of Burgundian styled Pinot Noir. Marc explains. “We knew we could count on the vineyard to produce formidable fruit. It is living up to our expectations as it matures and continues to develop layered complexity.”

Yves and Clotilde Julien began what is now Olea Farm by planting 1200 dwarf olive trees on their hilltop property in Templeton with the intention of making olive oil for their own use. However, they did not anticipate the amount of olives that these trees would yield. What was meant to be a small project eventually grew into Olea Farm.

In Italian, Fratelli Perata means Perata Brothers. Maternal Grandparents Brothers, Gino and Joe Perata, rekindled the winemaking history of their father, grandfather and great-uncle when they established their winery using grapes grown on their 31 acre vineyard. Sons of Italian immigrants, Gino and Joe learned winemaking at the knees of their father and great-uncle who produced hundreds of gallons of wine for family and friends while living in Camarillo located in Ventura County, California. Gino and Joe were taught from the very beginning about the need for hands-on work to produce top quality wines. About:

Sandra and Darryl Kilpatrick offer massage therapy in a variety of modalities. At Paso Robles Massage Therapy Therapy we are aimed to focus on client’s wellness through relieving muscle pain and tension while providing a clean, safe, positive and relaxing experience. Sandra and Darryl are mindful to client’s needs while remaining non-judgmental and compassionate. Sandra and Darryl strive to help clients achieve their health and wellness by providing exceptional service experience.

We often feel pain in a generalized area (shoulders, neck, low back etc.).  Massage Therapy however, attempts to identify which muscle is overly tight, sore, has a Trigger Point or what the specific issue is. We can then relieve pain by applying appropriate massage techniques for the identified problem. When the pain is relieved, we follow up with periodic massage as maintenance to prevent the problem from reoccurring.  We believe massage should be a part of everyone’s regular wellness plan.

We help clients heal from injury, release adhesions (knots), cope with stress, relax, and preserve functional capability, with soft tissue therapy.

Brief company history

Sandra and Darryl Kilpatrick completed the Massage Practitioner course at California Holistic Institute and received certification from the California Massage Therapy Council in 2013.
