An entrepreneur with tremendous business acumen, Robert L. Hall’s past success include ventures in construction, bowling centers, travel agencies, restaurants and champion horse breeding. In 1982 the Eberle Winery production facility and tasting room were open for business and in 1994 Gary expanded underground, building the first wine caves in Paso Robles. Now, over 30 years later, Gary Eberle and his wife Marcy still greet guests daily with complimentary wine tastings, public tours of the production facility and 16,000 square feet of underground caves. They also play host to a variety of delicious and entertaining events held at the winery throughout the year.

As a small family owned vineyard and winery, we consider ourselves fortunate to be part of a “New World” of wine exploration. Our passion goes into creating an exceptional vineyard, using intensive growing practices resulting in richly handcrafted wines. Come join us, and taste the complex flavors of Rio Seco wines. We are one of first wineries in the Paso Robles AVA. And one of the few that can boast its own vineyard.

The genesis of the wine story for Pear Valley began in the late 60’s when owner Tom Maas was stationed on an army base in Germany…in the midst of a vineyard. Here he learned to love both wine and the vineyard. Decades later, when the kids were grown and responsibilities waned, he was free to pursue his dream of owning and living in a vineyard. It started with 20 acres in 1999 and now Tom and Kathleen own 113 acres where they dedicate their energy and resources to providing the best environment for growing premium grapes. The vineyards are operated with sustainable farming practices to ensure that the best fruit possible will still be grown there when their grandchildren operate the farm.

The next phase of the dream began in the Spring of 2008 when they broke ground on a 14,000 winery and 5,000 square foot tasting room. Continuing the dedication to providing the best environment possible, the winery and tasting room were designed in partnership with PG&E through their “Savings By Design” program to design buildings that are energy efficient and environmentally sound.

In August 2012 Pear Valley officially achieved Sustainability in Practice (SIP) Vineyard Certification. The distinctive tasting room at Clautiere Vineyard is known to wine-lovers everywhere as a Paso Robles destination to relax, let your hair down and have a little fun with the wine-tasting experience. Located in the heart of the picturesque Paso Robles wine region, Le Vigne Winery produces quality wines that feature Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Syrah. The Rava’s own more than 1,200 acres of premium vineyards that span from the foothills of the Santa Lucia Range in Monterey County to the Rava Estate in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country. Owner, Chad Rava oversees and manages all vineyard operations, new plantings and harvest decisions. By having a hand in all production processes, the Rava’s are able to focus on terroir driven quality and their signature sparkling wines.

Paso Robles Vineyards

The estate vineyards start with a 505 continuous acre property, located in the El Pomar District, one of 11 sub appellations in the Paso Robles AVA. Once home to an Arabian Horse Ranch, Rava Estate was established in 2016 by Chad and Lauren Rava.

Located adjacent to Rava Winery, the estate vineyard is planted to 15 signature varietals from Italian and French origins. You will find Grenache, Teroldego, Nebbiolo, Negro Amaro, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Primitivo, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Calabrese, Tannat and Merlot.

The vineyard features warm daytime temperatures and cool marine breezes late in the day that flow through the Templeton Gap. The soils are a mix of loam, clay and limestone, providing excellent drainage and ideal growing conditions.

Our Paso Robles wine grapes are grown to promote intense, varietal flavors that can then be sculpted in the cellar into a final artistic statement. Meticulous winemaking practices coax the true varietal essences of the fruit forward, allowing for wines that are full-bodied, rich, and expressive. The rich, concentrated wines of Sculpterra are the result of combining exceptional fruit from the winery’s estate vineyards and select Paso Robles vineyards with meticulous hand-crafted winemaking. Gentle handling, using traditional gravity methods ensures that the integrity of the wines stay intact. Sculpterra wines are aged an average of 12 to 18 months in American, French and Hungarian oak.
