Established in 2005, Vines on the Marycrest is an award-winning, boutique family winery driven by a love of wine, music and art. Farming leads the way with vineyards of old vine zinfandel, tempranillo and Rhône varietals which are sustainably dry-farmed and head-pruned. Wines are award winning, handcrafted Zinfandel and Rhone Blends, (all named after popular songs) which capture the spirit of the Paso Robles appellation. The rich, concentrated wines of Sculpterra are the result of combining exceptional fruit from the winery’s estate vineyards and select Paso Robles vineyards with meticulous hand-crafted winemaking. Gentle handling, using traditional gravity methods ensures that the integrity of the wines stay intact. Sculpterra wines are aged an average of 12 to 18 months in American, French and Hungarian oak.

Norman Vineyards, established in 1971, was one of the original vineyards to be planted in Paso Robles, on a cool stretch of the west side on Vineyard Drive, an area now bursting with vineyards and wineries. The late wine pioneer and “Godfather of Zin” Art Norman and his wife Lei grew their vines and business from the ground up, researching and fine-tuning as they went to create the best quality grapes possible.
After twenty years of premium grape growing, they decided to start their own winery in1992. Though they had envisioned a small operation, producing perhaps a few thousand cases of wine per year, the instant success and acclaim they achieved led them to grow. The Rotta tasting room and winery is located in the Templeton hills, and features a unique blend of history and modern winemaking technology. One thing that’s definitely staying is the old redwood sign with “Rotta Winery” neatly hand stenciled in white paint. “I painted that sign when I was ten years old,” remembered Giubbini.
Sarzotti Winery and Vineyard serves as the Sarzotti family’s vehicle for sharing what they love to do—make wine. The winery is owned and run by the Sarzotti family, and they see it as a way to do what their family has been doing for generations: to make wine that can be enjoyed with friends and family.
Jim Sarzotti and his wife Cheryl as well as their son James and his wife Jenne, all live and work on the Sarzotti Winery and Vineyards property in beautiful Templeton, CA. James and Jenne’s children also live on the property. The Sarzottis have farming in their blood—fifteen years ago they relocated to Paso Robles from Southern California at James’ suggestion. James knew that his father had always loved to grow grapes and make wine, and saw in Paso Robles an opportunity to do this together as a family.

The Rava’s own more than 1,200 acres of premium vineyards that span from the foothills of the Santa Lucia Range in Monterey County to the Rava Estate in the heart of Paso Robles Wine Country. Owner, Chad Rava oversees and manages all vineyard operations, new plantings and harvest decisions. By having a hand in all production processes, the Rava’s are able to focus on terroir driven quality and their signature sparkling wines.
Paso Robles Vineyards
The estate vineyards start with a 505 continuous acre property, located in the El Pomar District, one of 11 sub appellations in the Paso Robles AVA. Once home to an Arabian Horse Ranch, Rava Estate was established in 2016 by Chad and Lauren Rava.
Located adjacent to Rava Winery, the estate vineyard is planted to 15 signature varietals from Italian and French origins. You will find Grenache, Teroldego, Nebbiolo, Negro Amaro, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Petite Sirah, Primitivo, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Meunier, Calabrese, Tannat and Merlot.
The vineyard features warm daytime temperatures and cool marine breezes late in the day that flow through the Templeton Gap. The soils are a mix of loam, clay and limestone, providing excellent drainage and ideal growing conditions.

Located in the heart of the Willow Creek district on the westside of Paso Robles, Pelletiere Estate Vineyard & Winery can be found on a cozy corner on Township Road just off Highway 46w in the beautiful foothills of west Paso. The property has a local history dating back to the late 1890’s. The original Farmhouse has been lovingly updated and sits proudly on our estate. The Pelletiere Estate vineyard, rich in limestone soils was planted in 1993-1996, and is family owned & operated with a commitment to the traditions of fine winemaking and responsible stewardship of its vineyard land for future generations to savor and uphold.
Its south-facing sloped terrain, rocky limestone soils, cool coastal breezes, and diurnal fluctuation in temperature create, above all an estate ideal for wine growing. Here we produce exceptional Italian varietals that honor our Italian heritage and those of our predecessor. Today, 100 percent of Pelletiere Estate wines are sourced from its sustainably-farmed estate-grown Italian varieties which include; Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Montepulciano, Lagrein, Aglianico, and Primitivo, as well as, our Syrah and Viognier. Ray and Pam Derby moved to the Central Coast area in the early 1990’s with the intention of retiring. In 1998, they purchased their first vineyard property, now known as Derbyshire Vineyard and their thoughts of retirement were replaced by the inspiration of being a part of the wine world. In the years following, Ray next acquired the historic Laura’s Vineyard (in east Paso) and then the Westside property, now called the Derby Vineyard. Needless to say, their plans of retirement never came to fruition.
After experiencing nearly a decade as a grape grower, the potential strengths of each property became apparent and in 2008, Ray and Pam launched Derby Wine Estates. They are extremely selective in terms of what goes into the bottle under the Derby label. The commitment to the land is appreciable, with only 20 hand-selected acres being used to provide fruit for their own brand. Grapes from the remainder (some 90%of their total acreage) are sold to some of the finest wine producers in California.
At ONX we focus on farming our crops with the understanding that the fruits of our labors will be realized in a glass of wine… your glass hopefully! There is a French term, elevage, which is applied to wine and it translates to “the educating or upbringing” of wine like parents do with their children. We like to extend that notion into the vineyard and believe that we can train the vines into producing the best possible fruit for wine production.
Our winegrowing goal each year is to raise concentrated and highly expressive fruit. We balance our crop to allow the vines to focus their energy on a limited number of clusters. The vine canopy is manicured to allow dappled sunlight penetration and air movement within the vine canopy. We employ a variety of trellis approaches that match our rootstock, scion, and soil combinations.
Unhindered by convention, the ONX Winemaking Team strives to create balanced wines that reflect both the place the grapes were grown and the vintage in which they were born. From rule breaking to blind blending, each vintage of ONX Wines is completely different, yet delightfully cohesive.
