Mystic Hills Vineyard is a boutique vineyard nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of San Miguel, California. We are blessed with crisp mornings acquired from the Pacific Ocean influence, and hot days soothed by the cooler afternoon winds. This climate, with the beneficial temperature swings, helps to create superior fruit for our wines.

Kula Vineyards is a small, family-owned vineyard & winery featuring award-winning, estate wines. A deep and abiding respect for Laetitia’s estate-grown fruit is the mark of Eric Hickey’s winemaking. Beginning his hands-on training in the cellar at the tender age of 16, Eric has lived and breathed Laetitia all the way to the top, where he is now the Head Winemaker and the winery’s President. “I keep it simple,” he says, “and I stay eye-to-eye with Lino because the interplay between us is what determines the wines’ quality. Everything done in the cellar starts with what we do out in the vineyard.” While Eric makes a point of experimenting with small lots each vintage, his style is fundamentally built upon finding balance, finesse, and the essence of the fruit he has come to know for so many years. The concept of Chronic Cellars came about in the midst of harvest in 2004. We had used the term “The Chronic” to describe likable objects before, but we had never considered it a suitable descriptor for wine. We sat alongside the crush pad one evening in our wine stained clothes and wet boots laughing about the idea of a wine that targeted a casual lifestyle.

Jake and I were raised in the heart of Paso Robles wine country. Wine and the art of wine making have been apart of our lives since the early 80’s. After graduating from college we both returned to Paso Robles and joined the team at Peachy Canyon Winery. After a decade each of immersing ourselves in all aspects of the wine industry we decided to do our own project. We wanted to try something new and put the tools we have gathered to work on our dream. We had a vision and a desire to make our statement in the wine industry that we could not deny. After four years we took our first step toward Chronic Cellars.

Seven Angels Cellars is a family owned, boutique winery located in Templeton, CA.  We began making wine in 2009 with a small production of Petite Sirah.  Since then we have increased production to around 3000 cases per year.  Greg Martin is the owner/winemaker and Pamela Martin is the other owner and handles social media, food pairings, wine club and club events and the website.  The story behind the name came from our passion for family.  We have seven children in our blended family, our 7 angels.

We both grew up loving wine.  Greg grew up in a rural area of California with neighbors who grew wine grapes.  He spent a lot of time learning about the entire process from the vine to the bottle from his patient neighbor.  He continued his interest in wine as a US Coast Guard when he was stationed in the bay area and had easy access to the multitude of wineries in Sonoma and Napa.  Pamela comes from a family of foodies and wine enthusiasts.  She took courses in college in winemaking and learned the biology aspect of wine.  She worked in catering and on TV as a home economist for a cooking show.  Pairing food and wine to create an interesting and delightful balance in a meal has become an obsession for her.

We married in 2008 and started making wine the following year.  We specialize in Rhone blends as well as single varietals.  Greg has his eyes, hands in every aspect of the process from the field to the bottle.  Pamela has the palate and the nose and is instrumental in the blending.

We participate in many non-profit and charity events as our way of giving back.  We are involved with Precious Life Shelter in Los Alamitos, a shelter for homeless pregnant women and Goals for Life, and NFL program for troubled youth.  We are the official wine sponsor for the Congressional Cup held annually at the Long Beach Yacht Club.  We also sponsor the Wooden Boat Festival in Newport Beach each year.

Many of our wines have been recognized by Wine Enthusiast with ratings in the 90’s.  We’ve also received numerous gold medals at California and International wine competitions.  This year we were awarded a gold medal from the mid-state fair for our 2015 Pinot Noir and a gold medal from the Orange County Wine Competition for our 2015 Tempranillo.

We believe in the “less is best” approach to winemaking.  Less manipulation and more natural methods of making our wine.  Greg likes to play with using different kinds of oak in our barrel program.  Our wines are food friendly, approachable in both flavor and price point.  We’d love to share with you more about our methodology, including, why we keep our price point where it is and how we see Seven Angels integrated on an evolved, noteworthy, wine list.

The Rotta tasting room and winery is located in the Templeton hills, and features a unique blend of history and modern winemaking technology. One thing that’s definitely staying is the old redwood sign with “Rotta Winery” neatly hand stenciled in white paint. “I painted that sign when I was ten years old,” remembered Giubbini.

As you enter The Hunt Cellars Tasting room, the fun wine experience begins, as you are greeted with either live music or our white grand player piano. Stroll up to our Cabernet Bar, where our warm and friendly staff are eager to lead you through a lighthearted and fun sampling of our wines. You may also choose to sip your wines on our spacious 1200 foot veranda, smoke your favorite cigar under our pavilion or simply stroll through our lush inviting landscaped lawns. Father and daughter Lloyd Messer and Dana Brown realized their dream of finding a place to express their passion for wine in 2000, when they established Calcareous Vineyards on one of the highest limestone plateaus on Paso Robles’ west side. Both Lloyd and Dana, experienced wine distributors in their native Iowa, recognized that the west side of Paso Robles had potential to produce world class wines. Their acquisition of 342 acres atop solid calcareous rock reaching 1,800 feet above sea level confirmed their dedication to producing the highest quality, terroir driven wines possible. It is a labor of love to cultivate fruit on this challenging land, but the reward is immediately apparent when tasting the wines. Calcareous has for over a decdade now, produced a collection of world–class blends and varietal wines that exhibit Paso Robles’ claim to being “distinct, different”. Lloyd passed on in 2006, and Dana advances their vision with the help of her sister Erika.

Claiborne & Churchill is a small, family owned and operated winery, founded in 1983 and located in the heart of the Edna Valley, just outside San Luis Obispo, California. Inspired by the wines of Alsace, we specialize in premium dry wines made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer, and Pinot Gris grapes, as well as handcrafted Pinot Noir from several nearby vineyards. We also produce small lots of other wines, including a Dry Muscat, Chardonnay, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sparkling Brut Rose, and a Port-style wine.

Located in the heart of the Willow Creek district on the westside of Paso Robles, Pelletiere Estate Vineyard & Winery can be found on a cozy corner on Township Road just off Highway 46w in the beautiful foothills of west Paso. The property has a local history dating back to the late 1890’s. The original Farmhouse has been lovingly updated and sits proudly on our estate. The Pelletiere Estate vineyard, rich in limestone soils was planted in 1993-1996, and is family owned & operated with a commitment to the traditions of fine winemaking and responsible stewardship of its vineyard land for future generations to savor and uphold.

Its south-facing sloped terrain, rocky limestone soils, cool coastal breezes, and diurnal fluctuation in temperature create, above all an estate ideal for wine growing. Here we produce exceptional Italian varietals that honor our Italian heritage and those of our predecessor. Today, 100 percent of Pelletiere Estate wines are sourced from its sustainably-farmed estate-grown Italian varieties which include; Sangiovese, Nebbiolo, Montepulciano, Lagrein, Aglianico, and Primitivo, as well as, our Syrah and Viognier. We are dedicated to meticulous vineyard care, picking at optimum ripeness, and creating elegant Italian-style wines which express the balance and pure flavors of our vineyard terrior.

Baileyana was created over 30 years ago by the Niven family, pioneering founders of the Edna Valley AVA.
